The Ruins
Like a lady wooed by her man, the Ruins play with your emotions especially at sunset with its orange pinks and purples hues. He charms, tickles and romances you. NORTH OF BACOLOD
Day One
Arrive at the City of Smiles at 10 am where you will be met by our local representative. Travel north through the endless view of sugar plantations then arrive at the Bonista Resort in time for lunch, Grilled specialties together with an assortment of Negrense dishes awaits you in the relaxing atmosphere of this resort owned and operated by a NASA engineer who decided to live a serene and quiet life in this part of the island. The rest of the day is free for you to relax (L,D)
Day Two
Today, we drive south to visit the Hawaiian Sugar Mill. Here you will learn the process of making the world famous muscovado as well as the powdered white sugar we use for our everyday food and beverage. Lunch will be served in a popular seaside restaurant row of Balaring.
Your afternoon tour will give you a glimpse of the many ancestral homes in Silay City as well as its Church. We proceed to Bacolod to check in to your hotel.
Freshen up a bit then go on a sightseeing trip to the many interesting sites in the City of Smiles. Our final stop today is at The Ruins in Talisay City. Get transported back in time as you marvel at the European inspired turn of the century architecture of the mansion owned by the Lacson Family. Take home all the photos as a souvenir of its opulent past. Dinner will be served in this royal setting. (B,LD)
Day Three
We check out from the hotel after breakfast to shop for some pasalubong. Bring home an assortment of our delicacies. We then drive to the airport to check in for the 1115 am flight to Manila.
